AALE MASALEWARI BHINDI

ELEMENTS:
250g bhindis
1 potato, slash into cubes
1 onion slashes into long pieces
1 tomato, slash lengthways
½ tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp grease
Salt to tang

FOR THE MASALA:
50g garlic
50g coriander
2 green chillies
Salt to tang
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
PROCESS:
1. Pound the masala using a mortar and pounder and keep aside.
2. Clean and pat wet the bhindis. Slit them vertically.
3. Stuff the masala into the slit bhindis.
4. Blend the residual masala into the potato cubes.
5. Heat grease in a pan, ad the onions and fry for a minute.
6. Add the tomatoes along with turmeric powder and salt and blend fine.
7. Add the stuffed bhindis and potatoes and allow it boil till done.
8. Take away and dish up warm with palak puris.
