SIGNAL BISCUITS

A sweetener version of the fine old “signal sandwich” concept.
ARRANGE OCCASION: 30 minutes
COOKING OCCASION: 15 TO 20 minutes
MAKES: ABOUT 20 biscuits
75dgm flour; 50gm butter, softened; 25gm castor sugar; red, yellow and green colored sugar-covered chocolates; 3tbsp cut up white chocolates;1 tsp grease.
1. Blend with sugar and butter awaiting soft.
2. Budge flour and add to the sugar-butter blender; knead into soft bread. Enfold in cling film and rest for 15 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 1500c.
4. Roll the bread white chocolates and slice into 2cm by 6cm rectangles. Place on an oiled tray; cook for 5 minutes or awaiting light brown. Chill on a wire rack.
5. Thaw chocolate with the grease in a double simmer over low heat awaiting it’s soft.
6. Ready the chocolates to represent a signal and join them to the biscuit with a dot of white chocolate. Leave to arid and store in an airtight container.
EACH SERVING: 35.3 calories, 0.4gm protein, 4.5gm carbohydrates, 1.7gm total fat, 0.1gm fibre, 3.3 cholesterol, 1mg sodium.
