SOOJI BADAM HALWA
PERIOD: 35-40 minutes
MAKES: 4-6 servings
YOU REQUIRE: 1 cup sooji; 1 goblet almonds; ½ goblet ghee; 2 goblet sugar; 6 goblet milk; 1 1/2tsp elachi powder.
1. Put the sooji in a microwave-resistant dish and bake open for 3 minutes on high.
2. Place almonds in a glass basin with 1 ½ cups of water. Heat on high for 3 minutes. Use up, refresh with chilly water and skin. Heat extra for 3 minutes on high. They should be crunchy. Cut the almonds, keeping a few away for garnishes.
3. Combine ghee and sooji in a microwave-proof dish. Cover up and heat on high for 3 minutes. Mix well and put in sugar, milk and elachi powder, cover up and heat on high for5 minutes. Insert cut almonds, decrease warm to low down and cook open for 12 minutes or awaiting broad. mix fine. Shake over almonds ahead and dish up warm.
